By investing massively in new technologies, G7 has been able to give its fleet of connected taxis a more client-centric approach. Combining the best of both worlds, it offers a state-of-the-art digital service to its customers, and to do so, the application and website have been designed to facilitate the customer experience and provide ease of use. Following this redesign, new functionalities continued to enrich the service.
G7 Connect, the payment innovation
The G7 Connect is born. As a dematerialized payment method, it allows consumers to pay for a trip with their mobile phone, without credit cards nor cash, thus offering an alternative to traditional payments and comfort to the user.
The environmental dimension at the heart of the group’s transformation
The company created G7 Green, converting the entire G7 car fleet into hybrid or low-emission vehicles, while accompanying its approach with a strong initiative for the planet: a tree is planted every 10 km travelled by its taxis.
The profound transformation of the G7 model has sparked the enthusiasm of the 2019 Business Performance Awards jury, which awarded this project with the Innovation Prize.
